Sea Kayak Snapper Island

This is unique experience is limited to only a few people each year:

Lying off the mouth of the Daintree River in Tropical North Queensland, Snapper Island is one of only a few islands in this area accessible from the mainland by sea kayaks. The journey begins soon after you are collected from your accommodation with a beautiful scenic drive past sugar cane fields, coastal beaches and the mighty Daintree River.

After a safety briefing and instruction session, a mildly challenging paddle awaits to take us to the island. We land on one of many idyllic beaches for a tropical lunch and then begin to explore the aquatic wonderland before stopping in at another beautiful white sand, sun drenched beach for more relaxation. Once suitably rested we head back to the mainland whilst navigating around the island coasting home if there is ample trade wind.

*Tour is subject to suitable weather conditions and may be cancelled at short notice.

Duration:  Full day tour on request
Fitness level: Medium
Minimum group size: 4 (call if you are travelling on your own to join others on the day)
Recommended Clothing: Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, long sleeved shirt and any personal medications
Gear provided: All kayak and snorkelling equipment is providedas well as a hydration pack
Lunch: Picnic lunch is provided
Departure: 8.30am. Complimentry pick up from accomodation in Port Douglas. Transfers arranged upon request all other areas.
